The Evergreen School District Foundation just concluded the successful 2011 Phone-a-Thon to raise funds for Evergreen schools. This event was made possible with the help of individual high school student clubs who donated their time calling community members. The funds raised will be used toward scholarships, Literacy Grants, and the Principal's Checkbook, an account to help disadvantaged students with basic essentials. 

Once again, this event was widely supported by the Evergreen School District community. Despite our struggling economy, donating to the foundation remained a priority for many of our patrons. One community member stated she was happy to donate because she loves the Evergreen School District and what it has done to help her sons, one of whom is a high-needs student.
